Franck Desevedavy and Alina Quach are the two founding partners of Asiallians.

For the past three decades, they have been assisting their clients with transnational projects and disputes, with a deep understanding of local culture and constraints.

Their practice is locally rooted:
– Franck Desevedavy was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1995 and has practiced since 1996 in Taiwan, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.
– Alina Quach was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1998 and practiced in Paris for six years, then in Beijing and Hong Kong from 2003.

The firm has also established long-standing partnerships in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and handles cases together with local lawyers from nationally recognized partner firms.

Franck has extensive experience in Asia. He began his career in France before becoming the first European lawyer admitted to the Taiwan Bar. Since 1996, he has developed expertise in Chinese and Taiwanese law and contributed to the opening and development of two renowned law firms in Asia before founding his own structure.

 

He advises ASIALLIANS clients on intellectual property, foreign investment, environmental law, litigation — including criminal law — and international arbitration.

 

He is the author of numerous articles on Chinese and Taiwanese law, and his expertise in IP protection is recognized in China and Taiwan.

 

He is admitted to the Paris and Taipei Bars, registered in Hong Kong as a Foreign Lawyer, and serves as an arbitrator.
Former President of the Taiwan Committee of the French Foreign Trade Advisors.

Alina practiced for six years in France in litigation and business law before moving to China in 2003. She developed her expertise in Chinese law within two French firms in Beijing before founding ASIALLIANS.

 

She advises and represents clients in foreign investment, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property, commercial mediation and international litigation and arbitration.

 

She is a member of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) and a China expert at the International Distribution Institute (IDI), where she speaks regularly.

 

Alina was Foreign Trade Advisor from 2008 to 2025 and served as Vice-President and elected member of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China from 2008 to 2017. She regularly hosts legal conferences and is a lecturer at the Montpellier Faculty of Law. She is very involved in entrepreneurial networks.
